WOW. How is it already November?! This year, and especially the past few months, has flown by. I’m hoping life will slow down just a bit because it’s my favorite time of year with Thanksgiving and Christmas. Yes, I’m that annoying person who is in Thanksgiving and Christmas mode as of midnight after Halloween. No shame! But before I get to decorating my house, here we go with this week’s Friday Features…
1. Starbucks Holiday Cups are HERE
Starting today, you can go by any Starbucks location and get yourself one of the four new holiday cups! The cup designs include the Classic Red Stripe, Flora (looks like holly), Espresso Houndstooth (red and white Houndstooth), and Stargyle. With me being a University of Alabama fan and graduate (Roll Tide!), my favorite is of course the red and white Houndstooth. And of course, Starbucks is bringing back all the Holiday favorites like Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brûlée Latte, Gingerbread Latte, Eggnog Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, and Toasted White Chocolate Mocha. If you have tried the Caramel Brûlée before, you are missing out! It’s amazing and in my opinion, a bit underrated.
2. Isn’t It Romantic is The Romantic Comedy for Valentine’s Day
When you pair Rebel Wilson, Adam DeVine, and Liam Hemsworth together, you can bet you’re going to get an entertaining movie. In case you’ve been missing out on some quality movies, Rebel Wilson and Adam DeVine were an on-screen couple in the popular Pitch Perfect series. And they were probably the biggest fan favorites, rightly so. I’m so excited they’re starring together again and with Liam Hemsworth! The trailer looks great, filled with romance and humor, perfect for the Valentine’s release date.
3. Eric Nam Releases Latest Single Miss You
Eric Nam is from Atlanta, GA and now a singer/songwriter based in South Korea. He typically sings in a mix of Korean and English, and his music is definitely worth a listen. His songs are usually about romance, heartbreak, and relationships with a mellow/pop vibe. Miss You is a song about that time after a break up when you’re getting over the end of a relationship and realizing you’re better off on your own. This song has been on repeat since it was released a few days ago. If you want to check out more Eric Nam songs, I’d recommend Lose You and This Is Not A Love Song.
How many remember the book and movie Matilda? I, for one, had that movie on loop throughout my childhood and if it’s on TV nowadays, you better believe I’m stopping what I’m doing to watch it. It’s a classic. I first came across Out of Print when HelloGiggles featured the Matilda sweatshirt on their site. Then I discovered they sold clothes based on classic and popular literature like Harry Potter, The Great Gatsby, Nancy Drew, and Pride & Prejudice. My personal favorites are the Matilda sweatshirt and The Great Gatsby sweatshirt. They have some really cute socks too!
