Friday Features – Take A Moment and Appreciate BTS Performing on America’s Got Talent

BTS Performs Their Latest Single IDOL on America’s Got Talent

If you keep up with entertainment news, you may have heard of the K-Pop group BTS. And if you haven’t, then I highly suggest you stop what you’re doing and YouTube them now. Or just keep scrolling and watch BTS performing on America’s Got Talent. Also, country queen Carrie Underwood is making a comeback with her new album!

1. TV Moment: BTS Performing on America’s Got Talent

There’s no doubt BTS is making waves around the world with their insane amount of talent. The members of BTS performed their latest single Idol from their recent album Love Yourself: Answer on America’s Got Talent this week. And, it’s easy to see why so many people love them (myself included). I’ve been a fan of K-Pop for close to 10 years and BTS has been the first group to make such a scene in America. I’m so happy they’re music is being played all around the world and they’re getting the chance to appear on America’s TV programs. If only I had just an ounce of talent they had .

2. Target’s Latest Collab: Chrissy Teigen x Target Kitchen Collection, Cravings

Go ahead, get ready to spend way more money at Target than you ever planned to. Chrissy Teigen has teamed up with Target to give us her kitchen collection, Cravings, inspired by her latest cookbook. According to Chrissy Teigen, “I wanted to make sure everything in the line felt unique and special, and each piece has little marks of character—like raw edges and flecks of glaze that differ from piece to piece”[1] My favorites are the bowls and tray and the white ceramic dish set. Everything will be available on September 18th!

3. New Album: Carrie Underwood Releases Sixth Album, “Cry Pretty”

After three years, Carrie Underwood has released a new album and in my opinion, the best one yet. It’s a different sound than she usually goes with, and it sets her apart from the other acts in country music. Her amazing vocals shine on every song, in particular, one of my favorites Low. My other two favorites from the album are That Song That We Used To Make Love To and End Up With YouThat Song That We Used To Make Love To has a more R&B, blues-y vibe but is still a more uptempo song. End Up With You is a cute and happy song that you can’t help but dance to. Overall, I think I love every song on this album which is rare. I can’t wait for her to release some music videos for this album.
