Trying out Influenster’s Latest Voxbox with StriVectin Line BlurFector Primer
I recently received one of the latest Influenster VoxBox which included StriVectin’s latest product: the StriVectin Line BlurFector Primer. Their products are not tested on animals and include a patented ingredient called NIA-114. NIA-114 is a blend of Niacin and Vitamin B3 that help strengthen the barrier of the skin.
I had never heard of StriVectin before, but was really excited to try out a new primer. It’s been a difficult time finding the perfect primer because by the end of the day my forehead lines and pores are much more noticeable. I’ve been using the StriVectin Line BlurFector Primer for the past week…read on for my review:
Details and Review:
Item Claims: Fill and blur the look of wrinkles, and to extend the wear of make-up while preventing it from creasing.
Directions: Apply evenly over skin as the last step (after moisturizer) of your morning skin care routine. Then, apply make-up.
Review: By my rating, you can tell I loved this product! You can instantly tell a difference in the smoothness of your skin after using. My biggest concern was my forehead area because of the fine lines I have. And this primer definitely made them less noticeable! The pores on my cheeks appeared smoother so it made the make-up apply evenly and seamlessly. As you see in the unedited picture below, the fine lines on my forehead are hardly noticeable unless you look up close in person. Another great benefit from this primer, was that it really did make my make-up stay all day. I typically wear my make-up for about 12 hours a day, and it still looked good in the evening. The only reason I docked a half point from my rating was because this primer has a rather matte/dry finish. So, I do have to make sure I moisturize really well before using the StriVectin Line BlurFector Primer. I believe this primer would be great for those with oily skin and even those with combination/sensitive skin. The one thing I recommend to those with dry skin if you use it, is to use a good moisturizer before hand. I honestly can say this is probably my favorite primer I’ve used and would definitely purchase.
