[K-Beauty Review] A’PIEU Green Tea Milk Sheet Mask
July 16, 2018
A’PIEU Green Tea Milk Sheet Mask delivers in packaging, but what about effectiveness?
A’PIEU is a sister brand of the very popular Korean Beauty brand MISSHA. But, A’PIEU is known to be cheaper than its counterpart. While I was walking around one of the many beauty stores in Myeongdong, I came across these sheet masks. You have to admit the packaging deserves an A+. Now, if I’m being honest, the packaging of products has a big influence on whether I purchase it or not. And these sheet masks have the cutest packaging of any sheet masks I’ve seen! I love the milk carton design and they’re altered for each variety (strawberry is pink, plain milk is blue, etc). There are six different ones with each targeting something different. The A’PIEU Green Tea Milk Sheet Mask is to help soothe the skin of irritation/redness. I also bought the strawberry (brightening) and pure milk (hydrating) masks, and will be reviewing those soon as well!
Details and Review:
Item Claims: Calm and soothe irritated and dehydrated skin.
Directions: After cleansing and toning, carefully place sheet mask on clean skin. After 20 minutes, remove mask and gently pat in remaining essence.
Review: Overall, I really liked this mask! As you’d expect with a milk essence, it was a bit thicker than other sheet masks. The essence itself was a bit milky-er than typical sheet masks and had a slight green tea scent. I left the mask on for about 20 minutes and over the next few hours, my skin looked great! The redness on my cheeks had faded, the fine lines on my forehead were less noticeable, and my skin looked super hydrated and glow-y! The only negative about this mask was that the material was a bit thick and didn’t fit my face the best. I do have a smaller face, but the mask had a ton of wrinkles around the cheek area because it was so large. However, I can’t complain about that when the essence itself worked so well!
