Friday Features Week 3 – Dr. Marten and Spring Songs
March 30, 2018
Week 3 of Friday Features hittin’ the stands.
Feature 1: YouTuber – Amy Lee aka Vagabond Youth
Amy Lee is a Youtuber and Instagrammer that creates videos about lifestyle, fashion, and beauty. Probably best known for her YouTube series, “The AM With Amy”, I highly recommend checking out her videos. She’s honest and real showing you the highlights and negatives in her life (hello acne, boy trouble, life drama, etc). But, the best part about her videos is that she makes you feel like you’re already her friend. Amy gives advice on how to deal with everyday things women go through, and she’s extremely funny too!
I’ve been a fan of Keith Urban for a very long time (like his very first hit single when I was probably 10 years old or younger), and he is one of few country artists I still listen to. This song is more poppy than country with it featuring Julia Michaels. But, I absolutely love it and it’s great for spring!
“Cure” by Yoo Young Jin and Taeyong (of NCT)
I had to include a K-Pop song on here too. This song, “Cure”, was actually released last summer. But, I’ve started listening to it on repeat again because of how perfect it is for driving with windows down when the sun’s out.
Feature 3: Fashion Item Wish List – Dr. Marten’s 1460 Smooth Boot
I love adding some edgy-ness to an outfit, and what better way to do that than with some Dr. Marten’s boots. My personal favorites are the Cherry Red and Classic Black ones. They, of course, go great with skinny jeans during the winter and fall, but they’re a great way to add something extra to high-waisted shorts or a casual dress. I’ve held off buying these for a while, but I may have to cave and purchase them soon.
Feature 4: Blogger Post – World Of Wanderlust’s “THE MOST PHOTOGENIC CITIES IN THE WORLD”
Brooke Saward is the owner and writer of popular travel blog World of Wanderlust. She’s currently one of my favorite travel bloggers and I’m always excited to see her next post. Earlier this week, she posted her Top 20 favorite places in the world to photograph. Being a visual person, beautiful scenic pictures get my attention. Every picture she includes makes it easy to see why it made her “Photogenic Cities” list and it added even more cities to my travel list (I don’t think that list will ever get shorter). My personal favorites on her list are Kyoto, Japan, Alesund, Norway, and Prague, Czech Republic.
