Florida Fall Fashion: Warm Colors for Warm Weather
October 24, 2017
While many are starting to pull out the over-sized sweaters and boots, Florida folks just don’t have that luxury yet. Unless you want to have a heat stroke, and I, for one, would rather not. So, I have to put off the winter clothing unpacking for a few more weeks unfortunately. I love all the cozy sweaters, but my fall fashion is more suited to the 80-90 degree weather we have during the day. However, at night it’s a little cooler, so I’m able to trade in the shorts for the skinny jeans!
I should warn you that red and black are my favorite colors. So, they typically make up the majority of my wardrobe and will show up a lot in my outfits. I never intend for this to happen, but whenever I buy something you can bet it will be a shade of red, black, or gray. Luckily, these colors fit into fall since they’re warmer colors (in my opinion, anyways). My go-to is a great pair of skinny jeans like these that I wore to dinner with the parents over the weekend. Pair it with some plaid and cute booties and you got yourself a Fall outfit suit for the hot and humid South.
These booties I bought last year from Just Fab and absolutely love them. They’re extremely comfortable and can dress up or down any outfit whether it’s shorts, jeans, or a dress/skirt. There is a very good chance you’ll see them repeated many times this Fall.
As for the jeans and shirt, I picked these up at Abercrombie. You can never go wrong with a pair of ripped black jeans. So classic! It looks like the shirt is sold-out in this color, but I linked a similar one below.
